Born and raised in suburbs of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, I’ve lived a pretty ordinary life so far – but I’m the only one to ever live it.

This summer I’ll be one score old (that’s 20 years for those who never knew what Lincoln meant). Two summers ago I graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School, and I recently finished my second year at Penn State University Main Campus. There, I study Digital & Print Journalism along with minor studies in Italian and Music Theory.

I love working with photos; the ones shown here are personal favorites from my own work. And while I’m no professional at the piano, I enjoy playing in my free time. However, nothing is so important to me as my Catholic faith in Christ. I’m an active member of the Penn State Newman Club, a closely-knit group of college students who help each other grow in faith. This coming school year, I get the privilege to serve as its Vice President.

It took me a few years to realize I had a passion for writing. I grew up under the impression that everybody must love poetry as much as I do, and everybody must think as deeply about things as I do. I’m so grateful for my education, what I’ve learned about myself from it and how it’s helped me develop my writing skills over the years.

Thank you to my friends and family for believing in my artistic ability, even when I didn’t believe I had any. You are what fuels my dream to inspire and encourage the world, one word at a time.
